Cause
I’ve had hard drive troubles and want to use Partition Magic to reformat and partition one of my drives. I have tried to do this and I got “Partition table error #108″ error highlighted in Partition Magic window. I tried to format the drive but it showed this error: “Error #4 Bad argument/parameter”.
Warning Backup all data stored in your harddisk before doing this. If not, your data may be losted!.
Solution
I used tool called “MBR tools” in a Hiren’s Boot Cd (version 9.5). This tools are used as Master Boot Record utilities. Then I used Partition Table Doctor 3.5 to fix the error. When chosing it, it will promt you to confirm fixing error if it’s found. You should click Yes.
- In Partition Table Doctor 3.5 chose Rebuild partition table(RPT) or press F3 on your keyboard.

And then go to General-click Save to save changes before exiting the Partition Table Doctor.
My problem solved that way and I hope it works for you as well.

Burn it to a CD (I used PowerIso software) and then boot your PC from CD/DVD and follow above steps.
